Donations Wish List

Here is a list of quality, presentable, clean, items that we’d like to have donated for our offices & store.  If you have or find any of these items for free, please let us know. Please email a picture of items to gm@nolafoodcoop.org prior to arranging drop off ( if you have a camera). If we agree to accept the donation and the items are big, we have a truck available if you are not able to deliver but we will need to see a picture before arranging a pick up.

Offices:

*2 regular sized locking file cabinets

*5 small office desks

*2 office chairs

*4 folding chairs

*copy machine (ideally with fax & networking capability)

*Lazerjet printer (no smudge, that can really crank out the copies)

*laminator

*paper cutter

*Wall mounting shelves

*3 desktop computers with newer monitors (ideally mac so we can network it together & use my software easily but I wont’ turn down a few decent pcs if we can’t find mac). Ideally one will have a large monitor for doing marketing layout design work and large financial spreadsheets.

*Dropsafe

*6-8 drawer locking till cabinet.

*Some kind of cabinet to store paper and office supplies in. Something with doors and drawers. Not too deep. possibly something that could double as a place for printer and stand up work surface for our paper cutter, laminator, hole punch, etc)

*Phone system that can handle 10-15 phones and 15-20 lines.

Break Room:

*Microwave (small)

*Mini-fridge (self-defrosting)

*Electric teakettle (ideally not plastic)

*Bookshelf (wall mounting shelf or freestanding)

*Wallmounted coatrack or hooks

*2 cute small profile but comfy chairs that are good to relax in

*small square or rectangle table and 3 chairs

*Electric hot plate that really works

*Electric wok (small)

*Commercial toaster (no toaster oven at this time)

*Electric rice cooker (ideally not teflon or aluminum but we’ll settle for it)

*Small water cooler

*Blender (ideally glass, not plastic)

Supplies/SmallSutff:

*Reams of paper

*Envelopes

*Electric pencil sharpener

*3 plug in adding machines (with tape holder)

*10 clipboards

*10 solar calculators with decent size keys

* 3 small profile desk lights (clamp or flexible neck free standing, no giant bases)

* Flip chart paper

* 2 Easels

* 2 Tapeholders

* 4 staplers

* Pencils

* Pens

* Dry Erase Markers

* Flipchart Markers

* Sharpies

* Large black permanent markers

* 5 pen holders/cups

* Stacking file

* legal size manilla folders

* legal size hanging file folders

For Staff Training & Community Workshops:

*Projector

*DVD/VCR

*Smallish TV

*Small AV cart

*Clean Binders

*Plain (or co-op themed) neck lanyards for name tags

General (some for offices, some for store):

* Waste Baskets (some with foot petal opening or flip lids, some open).

* Rubbermade totes

* TV trays (ideally the slightly taller kind)

* Plants (big or small)

* Good planters with bottoms (plates work good)

* Bags of compost/potting soil

* 4 spray bottles.

For the store:

* Bushel Baskets & really almost any other cute, clean baskets

* Wire Metro Shelves (various sizes, let me know what you find)

* 3 U boats/Stocking carts

* Industrial mop heads, industrial mop bucket, industrial mops

* Brooms

* Dust pans

* Rags (could be towels from goodwill cut into smaller pieces and surge-stitched on side so they don’t fray)

* Double bin hamper

* 3 hand-trucks (we already have a pallet jack)

* Vintage wood single panel cabinet doors (for signage).

Emergency/First Aid

*Small battery powered radio & batteries

*Flashlights & batteries

*First Aid Cabinet (wall mounting) & supplies

Outside:

*Metal 4-top cafe tables & chairs with umbrellas or cafe tables and umbrellas separately could be okay. Umbrellas should be in excellent condition.

*Outside benches (wooden or metal) for placement along the fence/walkway, and one for our receiving area for staff breaks.

* 2 Pop up tents (1 for staff bike parking area, 1 for tabling)

*Large attractive pots/planters.

* Hoses (1 regular garden & 1 thin coiling)
