The order deadline for the Buying Club’s currently open order is Sunday March 9th, 2008 at 7:00pm.

Anything in your “cart” at this date and time that contributes towards a full case will be submitted to our supplier, Morningside Organics, soon thereafter.

We are hosting our next community informational meeting and potluck dinner in the Treme at the Holy Faith Temple Baptist Church Monday, March 24 at 6:30
p.m. The address is 1325 Governor Nicholls St.

This event is a good opportunity to learn about the New Orleans Food Co-op and its plans to open a grocery on St. Claude at St. Roch. Our potlucks are always a lot of fun and everyone is welcome– this event is free and open to the public. Signing up new members is vital, and we’ll be prepared to take your check if you find you are ready to commit. Bring a dish if you can, but it’s not necessary. Most important, bring yourself.
