Holy Cross Community Info Meeting and Potluck
Join us for this month’s community informational meeting and potluck dinner in the Holy Cross Neighborhood, at the Greater Little Zion Baptist Church, 5130 Chartres St., on Thursday, May 29, at 7pm.
This is your opportunity to learn about the New Orleans Food Co-op and our plans to open a grocery on St. Claude at St. Roch. Our potlucks are always a lot of fun and everyone is welcome– this event is free and open to the public. Member sign-ups are vitally important to our success, and we’ll be prepared to take your check if you find you are ready to commit. Bring a dish if you can, but it’s not necessary. Most important, bring yourself.
Action Team meeting
Every other Wednesday. Location: Community Center at 625 N. Rendon. Any and all people who want to work on the development of the co-op are invited to attend. The Action Team is composed of committees working on the following areas: membership, financial, communication, hiring/search, and feasibility/site development.
