The Buying Club now has a new scale to divvy bulk items. Here we asked Armor to test the scale out for us, he rated it high for ease of use, but kind of low for comfort.

Volunteer Powwow & Potluck: Come to 625 N. Rendon St. (in Midcity) to a volunteer Powwow and Potluck. This event is for people who want to get more involved in the NOFC, but all are welcome! We will introduce the various committees, what they do, and how you can get involved. You do not need to be a member to be a volunteer! Bring a dish for dinner, or just come if you don’t have time to cook.

A Buying Club Potluck & New Member Orientation will be on August 8, 2007, 6:00pm, at 625 N. Rendon St. This event is for everyone, especially people who want to see a demo of how to order through the Buying Club.
We will have a projector and will logon to CoopShopper,com and will walk though searching for items, splitting a case, and answer any of your questions.
